hotmail errors

Just noticed errors retreiving hotmail email...

FreePOPS (0.2.7) is running as a windows service (port 8110 to avoid clash with other POP3 service).
I use POPCon to retrieve POP3 mail (via FreePOPS and direct to ISP POP3) this then forwards the mail using SMTP to my Exchange server...

This was working fine, for several months, not sure when it stopped but can't be that long as no users (there are 6) have reported anything.
I changed ISP on saturday and thought this was the root issue but can't find anything else wrong with the setup...
I therefore assume MSFT have changed something (???). Have seen another thread reporting same issue...

I would greatly apreciate any help with this and am happy to alpha/beta test any new version of hotmail.lua!
Is it worth re-posting with debug logging enabled??

have tested 3 of the hotmail accounts directly and can login with saved password OK.

Hotmail has started upgrading some accounts. I am working an update to fix this.

Russells, thanks, happy to test any updated builds...

Also, noticed that the accounts do get authenticated sometimes, about 1 in 30 attempts (guess) seem to get through OK, with no config changes my end. Weird. Would have thought it would be all or nothing, although I suppose MSFT have the same issue as the rest of us in updating web server code

I copied the file to C:\Program Files\FreePOPs\LUA_UPDATES
and restarted the freepops service
and my mail started to flow again!

Looks like the automatic upgrade to Live was thwarted!!

Is there a different repository where these files can be hosted? I had to register to download the file, any easier access would be better for the project...
(ie. the version in the downloads repository doesn't work)

I am still seeing this problem, or at least something very similar to the first reported symptom. The authentication fails with a lua stack traceback. See the attached log (contains both the LOG and the STDERR output). Running 0.2.8 with hotmail.lua 0.1.93.
