Mail.com lua still not working

When will there be an lua update available for mail.com?
It has not been working more than six month.

mail.com / aol/com not working since about 2010-09-01

The recently updated aol plugin fixed the login issue, but alas,
a new login problem reappeared on mail.com (accessed by aol.com).
Here's the log, could you please have a look at it?

Hotmail.com LUA PROBLEM !!

Hi my friends,

hotmail login and mail retrieval problem still continue. There is a discussion going on but not yet a solution is found..

Has anybody enable to access Russell to fix the problem, or anyone have a complete or partial solution..

please someone help it is urgent..

Yahoo mail mark as UNREAD after downloading

Hi,
I wonder if it possible to leave message as un-read on the yahoo inbox, after receiving it on outlook?

It' used to not mark message as read before I got NETWORK ERROR and updated yahoo.lua (0.3.20100809-kevin_edwards) for fix.

Any one have any idea, is it possible or not?

My Juno was working fine until this am. It just sits there "processing" Windows 7 Outlook 2010 beta FP 0.2.9. Anyone else having issues?

Log into your yahoo account, options and switch the Region to Asia. When you log back in go to options, you will see that you can enable POP access and mail forwarding FREE.. NO freepops/ypops needed!

incoming: pop.mail.yahoo.com (port 995)
outgoing: smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 465)
enable SSL

localhost:2000 problem

With version 0.2.7 on Debian Lenny, I face this problem when trying to get e-mail messages from Yahoo: "Connection to localhost:2000 failed"

When I run freepopsd(Start) from the Debian menu, I get this message: "PID: Cannot create pid file "/var/run/freepopsd.pid"

Merge Yahoo Mail with/to > Hotmail?

Sending of Password

Hi there. For the last 3 or 4 days I get the message 'Sending of Password did not succeed'. I have the latest yahoo lua. This error happens whether I am in Windows Live or in Thunderbird 3. Everything worked fine until then.
Does anyone know of a new problem with Yahoo? Thank you.

fsmail attachments

Hi folks,
I've recently installed FreePOPs onto my new iMac to get emails from my fsmail account okay, but only provided there's no attachments. If there are any attachments, it somehow stumbles and just downloads a sort of skeleton email with no useful information. Can anyone please help me persuade it to download emails with attachments?

Fixed Yahoo 20100809

Attached is my most recent yahoo.lua script (0.3.20100809-kevin_edwards). This is the support thread for that script.

INSTALL: Place the yahoo.lua file in FreePOPs/LUA_UPDATES if it exists, else put it in FreePOPs/LUA. Do this as Administrator to avoid issues with permissions and File Virtualization in Vista or Win7.

If you have problems, please post your debug logs:

(0) Close FreePOPs.
(1) Delete or move your old log files somewhere else. (log.txt, stdout.txt, stderr.txt in the FreePOPs dir)
(2) Start FreePOPs with the -vv (very verbose) switch (debug mode).
(3) Reproduce the problem with as few steps (and emails and email accounts) as possible to keep the logs small and readable (e.g. just have one small test email in your INBOX).
(4) Close FreePOPs.
(5) Attach the logs here in a zip file AFTER cleaning any personal info from the logs (e.g. look for your user name, password, etc. and replace with XXXX).

Also, view your debug log to ensure it is using the correct plugin version and that the timestamps correspond to when you ran your test -- otherwise you might have found an old log or placed the new yahoo.lua in the wrong directory. e.g. the log should include a line near the top like this:

Problem with 127.0.0.1 (change possible ?)

Hi everyone !

Since I develop sometimes website with some SQL or PHP inside, I installed MAMP Pro (which creates SQL/PHP server locally) on my Mac (Snow Leopard) and the problem is that it uses the adresse 127.0.0.1 to work.

I tried to change the adress in MacFreePops 2.6 but it doesn't work.

That's what the log says :

Mail2World -partially works, but...can't read msgs

I was able to get mail2world to at least download the following:

New message notification, but msg is blank with following msg:

"The message from concerning �� has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it."

Changed the web settings to automatically log in, but that didn't fix the problem. Anyone ideas?
